School Enrichment involves a variety of methods and activities used to enrich and invest in the lives of our community members. Our outreach includes supporting literacy by delivering books and expanding children's personal libraries, participating in Backpack-for-Kids, organized through Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana, and Adopt-A-School organized through Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. By operating and participating in these programs, we are able to assist in the growth of children and the faculty that helps mold their minds.

Through Visit with Peter Cottontail and Visit with Saint Nick, books are delivered to classrooms and they are visited by a holiday character to make reading more exciting. Each child receives their own set of books that they are able to take home and enjoy.

BACKPACK FOR KIDS PROGRAM

 The Backpack Program provides children with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food to take home on weekends and school vacations when other resources are not available. 

The Adopt-A-School program aims to bring more community involvement to Lincoln Parish public and private schools through pairing schools with community partners – businesses, churches, civic groups, even individuals.
