2022 Everyone had a hopping good time with Peter Cottontail! He cruised on by visiting elementary students at Hillcrest, Simsboro, and Choudrant on Thursday April 14th, 2022. We were able to supply 573 students with brand new books for their home libraries!
2021 Hip Hip Hooray! Peter Cottontail had a great day! He and Junior Auxiliary of Ruston delivered books to three elementary schools on March 26, 2021. Each child received 3 books each, and enjoyed seeing Peter cruisin' around in his automobile! During the holiday seasons, Junior Auxiliary distributes children's books to Kindergartners and first grade students at public schools in Lincoln Parish. JA Members read holiday stories and each child also takes home 2-3 books. The Easter Bunny makes a special appearances to take pictures with the children to bring joy and happiness to each who participate!
